1. General. No user with extra privileges may without consent from affected parties or permission from #1 give out information found by use of these and not accessible to a normal user. The same restrictions apply to any kind of use of such privileges to affect the property of others or finding out information about others. Wizards of course have permission to do this to uphold the functionality and policies of SPR. 2. MUF programmers. A MUF user should read the file 'muf-policies' and follow these rules. 3. Helpstaff. HS members should read the file 'hs-rules' and follow the rules therein. 4. Wizards. 4.1 A wizard is a person with a W bit set, meaning that s/he has total access to all of SPR. A wizard must of course be neutral when representing SPR, and not let personal beliefs contradicting policies or being based on what is not related to SPR disturb his or her judgement. 4.2 A wizard should uphold the technical functionality and policies of SPR, and has the right to act freely within policies and his or her own area of expertise. He or she will be responsible to the coordinator in the appropriate field. Coordinators will be responsible to DivineVixen. 4.3 The 'chairman' of the wizards is #1, DivineVixen, who is the only wizard who can decide to @toad (delete) a user account (character) on SPR, either by performing it herself or ordering it. 4.4 A wizard should not take sides in personal conflicts, and if it cannot be avoided, leave the matter to a neutral wiz. This also goes for the mediator wizards. 4.5 New wizards are appointed after a one-week vote (simple majority), and can be suggested by any wizard. A new wizard has to tell #1: - RL name - RL phone number - RL address - RL email address 4.6 The coordinator of a speciality is appointed by #1, who of course should listen to requests from the group before deciding. 4.7 The coordinator should coordinate the actions of the group and perform votes on certain decisions. The coordinator also have a final veto and also has the right to decide by him- or herself if need be. 4.8 For punitive action information, see the 'news punitive-action' file. 4.9 Page-mail and boards are vital channels for wizcommunication. Thus, they should not be disrupted by page #ignoring or irrelevant spamming. Read the file 'pcreate' to find out policies and proceduralia regarding account (character) creation.
