SPR official policy, subject to change with 1 day prior notice on the +board:

    Nothing transmitted over SPR can be republished by any means without
    consent of the originator. This includes but is not restricted to logs
    other than the system log (whose usage is regulated in the 'wiz-rules'
    document).
  
0.0) Do as you wish as long as you do not impose anything on anyone else
   without their consent, which is almost equivalent to 'treat others as
   you wish others to treat you', except for the fact that the latter
   disregards the fact that some, but NOT all, wish to for example 
   be whipped. :)
  
0.1) Each user of SPR has the obligation to be aware of and comply with
   the legal boundaries affecting the user. SPR takes no responsibility
   for any results of failure of doing so. Swedish law is prioritized if
   SPR is a party or affected.
  
0.2) The right to free speech
   Nobody has the right to restrict what you can, by any method, say
   or do on SPR, as long as it does not violate any part of the SPR
   policies. Note: Goes for SPR public areas.. owners of private areas
   can naturally decide for themselves over those areas.
  
0.3) General policy is set by DivineVixen. Any wizard can suggest a new rule,
     and any wizard can oppose the new rule, in which case a simple 
     majority vote takes place during 7 days.. If noone opposes the 
     rule within one week, it is set. Policues regarding a specific field 
     are in the same manner set by the coordinator of that field.
  
1.1) Legal restrictions and prohibitions:
   Legally, all your actions are regarded in the same manner as if
   you were writing the text in a letter or newspaper article.
   The only things noone may do on SPR are:
  
1.1.0) Imposing of any kind, defined as follows: No user 
   has the right to on SPR demand or hinder any action from or enforce any 
   beliefs upon any user(s) of SPR but him/herself unless the user is a wizard 
   enforcing the rights and restrictions of this 'constitution'.
  
1.1.1) Impairing the integrity or functionality of SPR's software, server or
   network connection.
  
1.1.2) Any kind of action not in accordance with what is described in
   the policies described in the newsfiles read by 'news <file>'.
  
1.1.3) It is strictly prohibited to use public areas or global channels
   (boards, @shout, intercom, etc) for slandering or personal conflicts.
   If a majority of the wizards online think that a user is abusing
   something to the effect of rendering it useless, they can also ban 
   the user from doing so. This should be reported to all wizzes.
  
1.1.4) SPR may not be used as a medium for the spreading of personal
   information regarding a person who has explicitely demanded the 
   nondisclosure of the same. This includes personal conversations.
   Information regarding relevant illegal conduct is excluded from
   this regulation.
  
1.1.5) Mob activity or conspiracy is against this policy.
  
1.1.6) Being the victim of a violation does NOT entitle anyone to 
       violate policies as retribution.
  
1.1.7) A user pertaking actions considered by a majority of the wizards 
       to be a major disturbancecan be warned to cease his or her activity.
       Failure to comply can result in newpasswording or toading. A violation
       of this kind can be reviewed by DivineVixen, during which time the user,
       in case of noncompliannce as of above, is @newpassworded.
  
1.2.0) If you create a character here, you, ie, the owner of the 
   email address registered to the character, are responsible for it.
   This is true even if other persons access the character.
  
1.2.1) SPR can not give any legal warrantiy of security of any information,
   even though we do our best to ensure privacy as specified in the policies.
  
1.3) The obligations of SPR (the MUCK, the wizards, etc) as
     described in these rules are binding as long as you do not
     violate our policy. If you use a privilege (M or B bit, etc) to violate
     policy, the wizards have every right to modify any program or 
     object in violation.
  
2) Definitions.
  
2.0) Order to not communicate.
     If you get an order by DivineVixen or any other wizard to never or 
     during a certain time not communicate with another user of SPR, 
     this implies that you cannot use page, whisper, intercom, staffnet,
     boards or any other means of communication to reach this user. 
     It of course includes any usage of alts, guest characters, or similar.
     The only exception is that of you and the user end up in the same public
     forum, in which case comments may NOT be aimed at the other person.
     Usage of any forum for slander not allowed.
  
2.1) SPR is a service we pay for, not you. We will follow policies, but outside
     of them, noone but DV and Snout has any kind of 'right' to SPR unless they
     enter some kind of contract with us. We reserve the right to deny anyone 
     a character.
  
Quick summary: Break rules once, and we might forgive you. Do it again,
               and you're out, period.
